The order had been issued by the Peace and Harmony Committee of the Delhi Assembly Committee for the sake of inquiry. However, the Hon'ble apex court has maintained that any person representing the defendant is free to refuse to answer any question that falls within the prohibited domains of law and order and criminal prosecution as that would fall within the jurisdiction of the state government.</description></oembed>
